Thank you for your care of us!

“You are our hunger heroes,” says Tom Bullaro, director of Our Lady of Guadalupe Food Pantry.

“Our Pantry has been gifted in so many ways over the years,” he says.  “In fact, we are celebrating 20 years of service to our community this very month. None of our work would have been possible without the help of so many individuals and groups.

Giving away turkeys for Thanksgiving dinner is one of our favorite things to do.

Most recently, we have received $10,000 for food from the Interfaith Council and $1,000 for food from the Masons of Hillsborough County.  Importantly, the continuous support of parishioners of Prince of Peace and Our Lady of Guadalupe through our monthly Project Hunger donations run by the Knights of Columbus have been a God send.  In addition, we have been the beneficiary of countless donations of both food and money from individuals and the following groups.

  • Sav-a-Lot
  • Kings Point residents
  • Kings Point Pickle Ball Club
  • The Women's Club in Valencia Lakes

With the monies we have received, we purchased turkeys to give to our families on November 16 and November 23.

“Each donation you share with us — whether of food or money to purchase food — targets food insecurity among the poor.  And every little bit makes a difference.

“Thank you, everyone.”
