Our Lady of Guadalupe Food Pantry is OPEN!

“Clubhouses and businesses have closed and events are being canceled as gatherings of large crowds are being discouraged everywhere.

“But the Pantry is still open on Saturday mornings,” says director Tom Bullaro.  “And will be.”

Bullaro is expecting extra food from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), and other sources.  He is working with Feeding Tampa Bay to arrange a series of food drops beyond their typical Saturday morning distribution.

“There will be plenty food for anyone in need,” he says.  “Anyone 18 years of age or over, living in Hillsborough County, is eligible for a box.  We can provide up to two boxes per car.”

You don’t need to be registered with the Pantry to get a box of food, Bullaro says, but you will need to sign for food.  Dates for these food drops will be announced as soon as they are in place.
