October 25 — busy food drop day at the Pantry!

“Folks from all over Hillsborough County responded to the free food distributed this week,” says Tom Bullaro, co-director of Our Lady's Pantry.

When Our Lady's Pantry hosts a Food Drop, it is for anyone over the age of 18 in Hillsborough County in need of food.

“We actually provided boxes of food for 279 families,” he says.  “There are 1,116 members in these households, of whom 460 are children — so we helped to put food on the tables of lots of folks.

“The Community Foundation made it possible for us to help our neighbors this way and we thank them very much.”

The next Food Drop at Our Lady's Pantry has not yet been scheduled.
