Bay Area Arbor donation designated for a Thanksgiving Feast for Pantry Families

Our Lady's Pantry has received a generous donation from Bay Area Arbor -- a volunteer group associated with the Gleaner Life Insurance Society of Tampa Bay.   This gift was slotted to purchase food for Thanksgiving for Pantry families.

“We received more than 300 pounds of food, plus 48 $10 gift cards, plus a check for $200,” says Tom Bullaro, co-director of the Pantry with his wife Anita.

“This is the second year in a row that Bay Area Arbor has gifted us with money ensuring that our families have plenty of food for their tables on Thanksgiving.  We are so appreciative of this generous donation.”

According to Bullaro, the $200 was used to purchase turkeys for Pantry clients who have three or more persons in their families.  The $10 gift cards were given to Pantry clients who have fewer than three persons in their families.

Gleaner is a non-profit tax exempt insurance company, which provides financial support to Bay Area Arbor for their activities that make a difference in people's lives.  Bullaro and his wife were so impressed by the activities of this group that they became members in 2015.

The local branch of Bay Area Arbor meets the second Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. at: 801 Golf and Sea Blvd, in Apollo Beach, Fl.
